Look at these Babies!

One of my best high school friends, Gretta, had her twins 10 days ago. (yes one of my other hs friends had twins a couple of weeks ago too!) I got to see them today and they are so absolutely adorable. Michael and Maryn.

My sister-in-law Laura, my freind Jodi (who had twins on Sept. 30th), Gretta (yes, I know she looks like she didn't have 1 baby let alone 2) and me of course!

Homecoming Hall of Fame!

This weekend was Homecoming in the Hatch (Waxahachie). We came "home" because Geoff is on his guys golfing trip in Arizona and it just worked out to be homecoming weekend. My dad is celebrating his 40 year high school reunion from WHS and my brother his 10 year! The girls enjoyed the annual parade on Friday afternoon with my newphew Nolan.

My dad was inducted into the WHS Hall of Fame on Saturday. We all went to the luncheon...we are very proud of you dad/Pops!

Whew!

Just finished a job in the knick of time for the Parade of Homes! First one by my lonesome. My mom is super busy doing other things, so I tackled it solo. I only did the living/kitchen/breakfast/bathroom, so it was simple. The hard part was finding furniture in-stock since I needed it pronto!

We Partied Like It's 1991!!

Thursday Night myself, my cousin Nicole (The Barrons), Whitney (The Wests), and 3 other ladies rode to Houston in style courtesy of our sweet husbands in a limo. We listened to old school NKOTB songs and Whitney passed out our treat bags adorned with pics of the guys!

After a yummy Mexican food dinner and being stuck in Houston traffic we arrived. The place was swarming with women ages 25-40. Some dressed in late 80s/early 90s fashion with crimped hair and all...others donned their favorite New Kid's t-shirts. It was a fun concert (very cheesey at times)..I really enjoyed hearing all the old songs. Brought back memories from middle school:)

We got back to BCS at 1:30. A little later than I am used to staying out...but so much fun!

Babies All Around!

So a couple of days ago I mentioned that my old friend Jodi had her twin boys. I got to go see them on Sunday. I had BAD allergies, so I wore a mask, so as not to sneeze in their little faces:)

(Me with little Jack)

My other oldest of friends, Gretta went with me to visit Jodi and her boys. Did I mention she is pregnant with twins due at any moment!!!???? On my next visit to Waxahachie the last week in October I will have 2 more babies to visit.

My friend Julie who I mentioned a few days ago --- gave birth to her third beautiful daughter. Check out her beautiful babe over on the right at The Wimberlys.

Kind of makes me long for a 3rd---but only for a minute, then the longing stops:)

Happy Birthday to Geoffrey!

Today is my husband's 32nd birthday! Happy Birthday Babe! I can't believe we met when he was 21...time flies:)

Since my b-day was last week, we get to be the same age ever year for 1 week and then suddenly he's older again!

In honor of this special day, I will share 10 special facts about Geoff. I was going to do 32...but not sure my brain can handle that this morning.

1. He was born in Newton, Iowa and moved around a bit before finally ending up in Texas in middle school.
2. He will NOT eat anything green including all veggies (except broccoli) and lettuce or onions.
3. He LOVES stopping at the Texas Stop Sign (aka Dairy Queen) for a tasty treat!
4. He is a former car salesman...I think that only lasted a few months during a summer in college.
5. He is a true Aggie fan, through good and bad.
6. He appeared on the game show Wheel of Fortune with his best friend Nathan for Best Friends week back in 2001. Click here for a recap and picture!
7. He should have been an architect or landscape designer...he is very talented.
8. He had back surgery at age 27 and has the back of an 80 year old, but is tries to keep it in good shape:)
9. He loves his 2 girls so much and is the perfect daddy for them, playing barbies and all---good thing he has 2 sisters!
10. He is the best husband I could have ever hoped for. Love you!

A Go See!

Geoff and I went to see this movie last night. It had such a good message and it was so refreshing to see that on the big screen. No bad language, no vulgar scenes, just a good movie with a Godly message.

It was fun to see my childhood crush Kirk Cameron. He is still pretty cute;)

Also say a prayer for my one of my high school best friends, Jodi. She delivered her twin sons yesterday morning. Jack and Henry are doing well, just praying that Jodi makes a full recovery!

And... one of my college best friends, Julie is being induced today with her 3rd child. This one is a stubborn one as it is almost 1 week overdue! Julie has held off finding out the gender on this one, so I am super excited to get the phone call. Praying for you today Julie and family!
