Last Few Pics

My awesome sis-in-law Laura sent me a few extra pics from the wedding... so I thought I'd share.

On another note, I have lost a total of 15.4 pounds...after the wedding week of festivities I was a little concerned. I ate whatever, whenever, including 2 pieces of wedding cake! I weighed in today and low and behold, not a single ounce gained or lost...WOOOHOOO!

Molly starts swim lessons later this afternoon, let's hope she learns to swim this year and gets over her fear of going under water. Being that her ambitions are to be a mermaid when she grows up (along with a vet and a soccer player) she needs to learn this skill!!

Busy Weekend!

This weekend, my cousin Nicole got married. We were busy with the lingerie shower on Thursday, rehearsal on Friday and wedding on Saturday. We relaxed at the pool on Sunday and came home on Monday.

The wedding was a huge success...the bride was BEAUTIFUL!! (Sadly, I have no pics of her--but Laura will hopefully send me some!!) Molly was a flower girl for the first time and did great. I was matron of honor so I got to keep Molly under control during the ceremony!

An Important Day in History

On this day

9 years ago - Geoff and I went on our first date. We went to eat at Cafe Capri in downtown Bryan and then walked around the Bush library and talked for hours...I think I knew that night that I would marry this man! And 18 months later I did:)

5 years ago- I discovered I was pregnant with Molly. We had been trying for quite some time and I took a test only because the doctor's office that I used to work for had mailed me some tests (b/c they are so expensive) and I had to pee when I got home from school (I was a teacher). There was 2 lines! 5 more tests and I believed that I was actually pregnant!! That was a great Mom's Day surprise!

Geoff gave me my Mom's Day gift early. It arrived via UPS today and he couldn't hide it from me:) A Dyson vacuum!!! YIPPPEEE!

Mom's Weekend

This past weekend my friends Whitney, Jan, and I went on a Mom's trip. We left early Saturday morning to head to Austin for a day of shopping (lots of shopping!), eating(LOTS of eating) and relaxing (by the pool).We stayed at my Dad's friends house that was just beautiful. Sunday we came back thru the Round Rock outlets. Whitney has a couple of pics from the weekend. We hope to do it again soon. Missed those who couldn't make it!
