Prayer Please
One of my dearest college friends had her sweet baby boy on Monday. He has some problems and is in the NICU...please pray for precious Luke.
Pray that he will heal from his surgery.
Pray that they will determine the cause of his issues.
Pray that he will recover from his next surgery in a couple of weeks.
Pray for his parents as they support him through this.
Pray for this sweet little family.

Fall Football Around the Corner
Thursday evening myself and a few buddies attending the annual Chalk Talk for women event. Held at Kyle Field's Zone Club it's an opportunity for the ladies to make their Aggie husbands jelous:)
We hung out with players, coaches, ate, talked, went to classes to learn lots of football info (most of which is WAY over my head--as I went to intermediate and should have been in the pre-beginner class), did some drills on the practice field, had a yell practice on Kyle Field, etc.
Lots of fun. Check out Whitney's blog (The Wests) on your right to see some pics of the event. Thanks Whit for being the official photographer!!

Calling All Travelers!
Need HELP!
Geoff and I are going on vacation...to Mexico (Cabo San Lucas)... in September.
Passports --- CHECK
Flight --CHECK
Mimi coming to watch girls -- CHECK
Hotel????????
We've been lookint at a couple of resorts (that celebrities frequent) and decided we're not willing to shell out the $$ for those.
Has anyone been to Cabo? Where did you stay? What did you think?
I have a hard time just looking online and booking a place without anyone recommending it!
Thanks in advance for all the advice:)

Back to Reality
My girls left on Thursday and returned today.
While they were gone we:
-painted the kitchen (see previous post)
-slept in late every morning...even until 10!
-got a pedicure and took my time running errands
-went out to dinner at 9:15
-went to the Pool by myself!
-went grocery shopping together at 10 pm
-ate breakfast in the living room while watching TV
The girls are back home and it was so fun to see them again. They were excited to see me too. They had a great visit with Mimi and Pops.
It is nice to have a break every once in a while...but nothing beats those hugs, kisses and laughter that fill your heart and home!
By the way, Molly LOVES the kitchen, it's "WONDERFUL!"
She starts cooking camp tomorrow at the Children's Museum. It's every morning this week, I think she'll have fun. I told her she can cook dinner for us!

Feeling a little like Koi Pond
My girls are visiting Mimi and Pops for a few days.
What does a couple do when they find themselves a few days without kids?
Paint your entire kitchen and dining room of course!
We've been painting since about 10 this morning, I got to sleep in this morning until 9!!
We're still working...well, Geoff is. I'm taking a much needed "break" after hours of rolling!!
We chose a sage green color called Koi Pond. Hopefully I will like the finished product, because I don't want to start over!!
We're having a good time. Last night we hung out at The Johnstons along with the Wests. Geoff and I played bowling and tennis on the WII!! FUN!!
Tongiht we're going out for dinner, not sure where yet?
Tomorrow...the pool, pedicure, who knows.
