An Island Christmas

Thursday night Molly's school had their Christmas Program. This year's theme was Caribbean Christmas. Everyone did a good job! The PreK and Kindergarten girls did a Hula dance.
The video is kind of hard to see because we were back a few rows. But Molly is in the middle, easy to spot because she is the only one with glasses!!

Here is Ally during the performance.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Weekend of Fun.

This last weekend we headed up to Waxahachie for a weekend of fun...
After Thursday night with the Lisa (see previous post)Friday we headed up to Dallas to Northpark Mall. Mimi, Aunt Lala and Nolan went with the girls and I. It was Nolan's 1st birthday that day...he got to go to the mall with a bunch of girls, what more could he ask for? We got to see all the neat Christmas decorations...

Then we got to visit with Santa. Molly wants a Barbie Bike and Ally wants Dora:)

That night the girls and I went with Mimi and Pops to Bethlehem was so neat to see what it was like when Christ was Born. The girls loved seeing baby Jesus, the camels, and getting scarves put on their heads like the women in Behtlehem...

We topped off the weekend with Nolan's first Birthday party. I can't believe he is already 1. Happy Birthday Nolan!! I just love this picture of him!! He had just about reached his limit!

Visit from an Old Friend

My old friend from high school, Lisa, now lives in Colorado.
She was visitng family in Texas and we were able to hang out for a night. Oh, what fun we had!!!
We got our kids together before we had our night out. I had never met sweet Delaney and she had never met Miss Ally.

Ally and Delaney -- last time Lisa and I saw each other these two were in the womb!

Today we wake up to this.

Guess that's Texas weather for you:)

Jr. League Provisional Social

I hosted the Provisional Christmas Social for the Jr. League of B-CS at my house. It was lots of fun! I am on Membership Development this year and we, the committee, really enoyed all the planning of it.

Christmas in the Rotunda

Molly's dance school performed at the George Bush Library Rotunda last Saturday. Her group danced to Frosty the Snowman. She did a great job and it was cute to watch!

During Molly's dance, Ally enjoyed some Skittles!

Mimi and Pops came into to town to watch --- we ended the morning with a lunch at Molly's favorite place to eat - Fish Daddy's!
