The video is kind of hard to see because we were back a few rows. But Molly is in the middle, easy to spot because she is the only one with glasses!!
Here is Ally during the performance.
Merry Christmas Everyone!

This last weekend we headed up to Waxahachie for a weekend of fun...
After Thursday night with the Lisa (see previous post)Friday we headed up to Dallas to Northpark Mall. Mimi, Aunt Lala and Nolan went with the girls and I. It was Nolan's 1st birthday that day...he got to go to the mall with a bunch of girls, what more could he ask for? We got to see all the neat Christmas decorations...
Then we got to visit with Santa. Molly wants a Barbie Bike and Ally wants Dora:)
That night the girls and I went with Mimi and Pops to Bethlehem Revisited...it was so neat to see what it was like when Christ was Born. The girls loved seeing baby Jesus, the camels, and getting scarves put on their heads like the women in Behtlehem...
We topped off the weekend with Nolan's first Birthday party. I can't believe he is already 1. Happy Birthday Nolan!! I just love this picture of him!! He had just about reached his limit!

I hosted the Provisional Christmas Social for the Jr. League of B-CS at my house. It was lots of fun! I am on Membership Development this year and we, the committee, really enoyed all the planning of it.

Molly's dance school performed at the George Bush Library Rotunda last Saturday. Her group danced to Frosty the Snowman. She did a great job and it was cute to watch!
During Molly's dance, Ally enjoyed some Skittles!
Molly outside after the big performance!
Mimi and Pops came into to town to watch --- we ended the morning with a lunch at Molly's favorite place to eat - Fish Daddy's!

Happy Thanksgiving from the Myers Family. We have so much to be thankful for, even in the most difficult of times. At Molly's Thanksgiving program the 1st grade class spoke of Psalm 100, which prompted me to read it carefully.
Psalm 100
1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
I talked with the girls about what it means to be thankful. I asked them what they are thankful for...it resulted in the following
MOLLY
1. Brady (our dog)
2. Mommy
3. My daddy
4. Ally
5. Griffin (our friend Nathan and Cari's son)
ALLY
1. turkey hats
2. turkeys
3. Molly
4. me ( herself )
5. Molly
I pray that everyone has safe travels and a blessed time with friends and family.

Dear Ally--
Today you are 2 years old. I can't believe that it has been 2 years since we first met you, but then again, I feel like I have known you forever. You are such a blessing to our family and we are so thankful that God trusted us to be your parents! You are such a funny little person. You are always saying something funny or making funny faces. You have such a kind heart...you (almost) always say please/thank you without prompting...excuse me and I'm sorry are also free flowing. You love your big sister and have become somewhat of her little shadow always wanting to be where she is and do what she is doing. It will be interesting to see if you continue this as you get older, or if you want to do the opposite. Here are 10 of your favorite things at age 2
1. Dora
2. Milk (mo-mote)
3. Paci (this will go bye-bye soon!)
4. Blankies
5. Playing babies
6. Molly
7. Puppies
8. waking up very early
9. reading stories with Daddy
10. playing with Mommy's shoes
We love you so much and wish you a very Happy 2nd Birthday sweetheart.
All My Love,
Mommy

Last week I was interviewed by SouthernLiving.com. They are doing a contest involving Traditions (where Geoff works and we live). So they are doing a piece on the property and the community in general. I got roped into being interviewed under the assumption it was an article...for the magazine. Not an on camera, big time interview!!! YIKES! Well, I must be great (NOT) because I made it on the promo introduction that is on the website as of today. A longer promo will be put up in the spring.
To view my debut, visit here.
I don't show up until about a minute and a half into it!
Enjoy!

This weekend has been fun catching up with old friends.
Friday night, my good friend/college roommate came into town and while her hubby was playing poker we headed out for a yummy dinner. Geoff thought it was hilarious that we dressed almost identical. Green sweater, jeans, brown boots! Did I mention we are both Emily?
Me and Emily Turner Leigh
Saturday the girls and I drove to Houston to see my friend Julie's 3rd baby girl, Aubrey
Me and Aubrey Shawn Wimberly --she loves me, do you see that smile?
Her mom comes around and she just cries:)
Molly and Melissa --friends from in utero.
Ally and Kelsey -- friends from birth.
Thank you to Julie's brother and sister-in-law from letting us all hang out for the day:)
